The renovation works funded by a Saudi Arabia philantrophist Ukla Bin Mohammed, provides the needed face-lift to the seventeen year old mosque which prior to the intervention was in a virtual state of direpair.

Various speakers at the function who included Islamic clerics, underscored the peaceful nature of the Islamic religion and urged the youth to adhere to the true tenents of Islam. They advised them to desist from any acts that could bring the image of the religion into disrepute.

The chief Imam of the Atebubu Ahlussuna Wal Jama’a Aswaj, Hassan Ali Makeri said Gods sole purpose for creating man is for man to worship him and called for Allah’s blessing for the benefactor.

He said the future of any country depends on the youth and urged them to be law abiding.

There were solidarity messages from Imams from Jato Zongo in the same district as well as Prang and Kadjeji in the Pru and Sene East districts of the Brong ahafo region.
