AAMA, WVG signs MOU
The Atebubu-Amantin municipal assembly and World Vision Ghana have signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering the handing over of the non-governmental organizations assets in the municipality to the Local Authority.

World Vision Ghana rounded up its activities in the municipality last year after 23 years of various interventions covering water and sanitation, health, education, agriculture and food security among others.
At the signing ceremony the WVG Director for Governance and Landed Property, Mr. Lawrence Dowuona-Hammond expressed his outfit’s gratitude to the municipal assembly for its commitment and support during its stay in the municipality and hoped that the assembly will build on the successes of the NGO for the benefit of the people.
He expressed the hope that whatever use the facilities which include buildings and other movable items like furniture will be put to good use to benefit the people of the municipality especially vulnerable children.
“World Vision works with vulnerable children so whatever use you put it to should benefit children especially the vulnerable ones in the community”. He said.
On his part, the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Joseph Tang thanked World Vision Ghana for the immense support to the municipality which has impacted positively on many lives.
He assured the benefactor of putting the assets to the best possible use to benefit the entire municipality.
Present were officials of World Vision Ghana as well as heads of various departments in the municipality.
