10-units lockable stores at Jumapo Market commissioned

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has commissioned a 10-unit lockable stores for the Jumapo market to enhance the activities of our Market in our Municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Comfort Asante said the stores and the borehole is part of government’s effort in ensuring traders do their businesses without any challenge at the Market and added that, the Assembly will continue to do their best for the people in the Municipality.

She urged the traders to continue paying their taxes to the assembly in other to carry out more of these kinds of projects in our municipality and therefore thanks the chiefs for protecting the land to be used for the intended purposes for our development and growth of the municipality.



Madam Comfort Asante advised the market women to wash their hands and continue to wear their nose mask to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The Chief of Jumapo, Obrempong Kwame Oppong Owusu, commended the Assembly for its numerous projects initiated and asks for more in his community.



He, however, appealed to the MCE as matter of concern to construct fence wall around the market to provide security for the Market Women.

Madam Efua Oye who is the mother of the Market was grateful to the Assembly and the Government for their intervention.
