Atwima Nwabiagya South MCE Aspirant Outlines Four Priority Areas

The Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) aspirant has outlined four key priority areas he intends to focus on if given the opportunity to lead the municipality.

The proposed priorities are aimed at addressing key development needs within the municipality while improving the living conditions and economic opportunities of residents.


The aspirant said his administration would place strong emphasis on infrastructure development, education, healthcare and job creation, describing the four areas as critical to the socio-economic advancement of Atwima Nwabiagya South.


On infrastructure, he pledged to support the improvement of roads and other essential facilities to enhance movement, connectivity and access to services across communities.


In the area of education, he said greater attention would be given to improving the learning environment and supporting initiatives that would enhance educational outcomes for children and young people.


Healthcare also forms part of his priorities, with an emphasis on improving access to quality healthcare services and addressing challenges affecting residents’ wellbeing.


The aspirant further identified employment and economic empowerment as a key area, promising to promote initiatives that could create opportunities for young people and support local businesses.


He stressed that achieving these objectives would require collaboration among the Municipal Assembly, traditional authorities, community leaders, private-sector players and residents.


The MCE aspirant called for unity and collective effort, saying the development of Atwima Nwabiagya South should remain a shared responsibility irrespective of political affiliations.


He expressed confidence that with effective leadership, stakeholder cooperation and proper utilisation of resources, the municipality could make significant progress in the coming years.
