Your status as leaders of tomorrow will depend on how you allow yourself to be moulded by your parents and teachers while shunning anti-social behaviours like pre-marital sex, drunkenness, smoking, insubordination and truancy among others.

Mr Koomson gave the advice during the celebration of Ghana's 56th Independence anniversary at the Ajumako Campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), under the theme; Partnership and Innovation for Building a Better Ghana.

He assured that the Assembly would strive to work harmoniously with all the different stakeholders in order to achieve all set targets.

The celebration was colourful and well attended by school children, Cadet Corps, organised groups, assembly members, the MP, Mr Ato Forson, the District Coordinating Director, Mr Philip K. Asamoah, the Ajumako Omanhen, Ogyeabo Nana Kwamena Hama and the general public.

The DCE paid glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the nation including Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of the Republic of Ghana, through whose inspiration Ghana had her independence.

Mr Koomson called for hard work and unity of purpose, saying; œwe still need everybody to be part of the nation building process.

The Breman Essiam Community Brass Band and the Ajumako Methodist Church Boys™ Brigade Band provided live music on the occasion.
