DCE advises NYEP persons to upgrade themselves

Mr Peter Light Koomson, the District Chief Executive for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, has advised Community Education Teacher Assistants to count to study hard and upgrade themselves.

Mr Koomson was addressing 60 pupil teachers who are undergoing a 21-day in-service training at Enyan Denkyira Senior High School.

He told participants that their services would be needed to train the future generation but they could do this unless they were academically good.

Mr Philip Asamoah, the District Coordinating Director and Mr Atto Quainoo, the Presiding Member of the Assembly who accompanied the DCE, told the trainees that the Assembly was spending so much on their training and they must accept to posting to wherever their services would be needed.

Mr Asamoah said only those who accept such postings and give off their best would be considered for sponsorship to higher institutions of learning to qualify as professional teachers.
