MP hands over 6–unit classroom block to Aboabo Salvatiom

Mr. William Agyapong Quaittoo, Member of Parliament for Akim Oda has handed over a 6 - unit classroom block built through the GETFund to the Akyem Aboabo Salvation Army Basic School.

He said the people of Aboabo Township made an appeal to construct a new classroom block to replace the existing primary school which has become a death trap during the handing over ceremony of the KG block.

According to Mr. Quaittoo he has noticed the problem even before it was officially reported to him and promised the people that, he will try and help them, with good infrastructure. “And today, I handed over a new six-unit classroom block to replace the old and dilapidated primary school block”.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Mrs. Victoria Adu, said “we are doing this to improve education in the municipality so that our children will have a bright future.

Mr. Benjamin Cudjoe the Municipal Education Director, was much grateful to the MP for such a project. He, therefore, took the opportunity and urged the residents to practice cultural maintenance to prolong the lifespan of the structure.
