The project which was started with funds sourced from the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) is expected to provide a conducive learning environment for the school pupils.
District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Mr. Nadi Sanda Imoro, who disclosed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, said, the project was aimed at expanding the existing facility in order to accommodate more pupils in the school to help improve academic performance.
According to him, the assembly had prioritised education and was, therefore, dedicated to the provision of the needed infrastructure in all basic schools in the district.
He challenged parents to send their children since government through the assembly was ready to provide the basic teaching and learning needs to help improve education in the area.
Meanwhile, Mr. Imoro has lauded the President for redeeming his “Free SHS” promise to Ghanaians, adding that the policy has eliminated the financial barriers that prevented of parents from sending their children to secondary school.
