The materials are to enable them to complete a community-initiated school project located in Saapari, a suburb of Daffiama in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District of the Upper West Region.

The attention of the Member of Parliament was drawn to a published story, an interview was granted to the PTA chairman where he categorically stated that calls were made to both Member of Parliament and DCE but none came to their aid.

Mr Sebastian appreciated the people for bringing the issue to his attention. Indeed, this is the first time the issue has been brought to the attention of the Member of Parliament.

However, as a leader who is very much concerned about the welfare of the people and especially so when he considers education paramount in the development of the constituency, he has decided to swiftly respond to the call by the people.

As an interim step to support the project, the Member of Parliament has donated ten (10) bags of cement and a packet of roofing sheets to complete the kitchen immediately.

The items were donated by Isaac Langu on behalf of the Member of Parliament to the Assemblyman and PTA executives.

The Member of Parliament has also donated an undisclosed amount to the school to help solve the water challenges the school was facing as a mechanized borehole in the school developed a problem before schools were closed down in March this year.
