MCE donate to teachers undergoing training on new curriculum

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwabre East Nana Osei Asibey Bonsu has donated some items to teachers in the Municipality undergoing training on the new Standard Based Curriculum at Mamponteng in the Ashanti Region.

The training program which has been designed with full recognition of the demand of modern times and global imperative of quality education, as required by the Sustainable Development Goals was organized by Ghana Education Service in collaboration with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).

The MCE said, the training will prepare Ghana and the next generation and also help the teachers to acquire modern skills that will enable them to navigate the new world and the challenges that will be inherent in it.

He therefore advised the teachers to train the children entrusted to them to enable them become better and responsible leaders in the future and be more committed to their work to promote education in the country.
