AMANSIE W: Sod cut for the construction of Medical officer's bungalow
A handing over of site and sod- cutting ceremony for the construction of 1 No Medical Officer's bungalow at Manso-Nkwanta Health Centre has taken place.

The construction of the medical officer's bungalow will encourage full medical officer to stay and work at the Manso Nkwanta health centre pending Government’s upgrade of the Manso Nkwanta Health centre to Government District Hospital.
The construction of the bungalow would be completed within 6 months.
Speaking at the sod -cutting and handing over of site, the District Chief Executive for Amansie West, Mr William Bediako Asante said it is regrettable that Manso - Nkwanta being the District Capital of Amansie West has since its creation as district in 1988 has no Government District Hospital.
He said the district Assembly has passionately appealed to the president Nana Akuffo Addo as a matter of urgency to upgrade the Manso Nkwanta health centre to District hospital to improve health delivery in the district.
The construction company working on the project Frimtim Construction Ltd promised to complete the project as planned.
The District Coordinating Director, Mr Joseph T Ababio on his part appealed to the Frimtim Construction Ltd to speed up work on the project for the health needs of the people.
Present at the ceremony were Nana Akrasi Frimpong Manso Nkwanta Anyinasehene, Mr Kwame Ayensu Barimah Convener, Works Sub-committe, Mr Michael Asare District Engineer and other Assembly staffs.
