Dansoman gets new circuit court
Ghana’s Chief Justice, His Lordship, Justice Anin Yeboah joined Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful the Minister for Communications and Digitalisation who double as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ablekuma West constituency to inaugurate a new Circuit Court in Dansoman.

The edifice fitted with modern gadgets and offices for the Judge, registrar, bailiff, administrator and accountant, the Dansoman Circuit Court is part of the 100 Courts project being executed by the Akufo-Addo administration with funding from the office of the Common Fund Administrator.
The court also has an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) outfit and other ancillary facilities.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, His Lordship, Justice Anin Yeboah said the new court is the 5th gender and domestic violence-based court in the Greater Accra Region and will help enhance justice delivery in the Ablekuma West Municipality and beyond.
"I urge you all to ensure that the investment in this court is well protected. Every user of the facility must exercise utmost care and treasure the resources spent," he added.
This initiative is the single most significant infrastructural investment in Ghana's judicial system.
The Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, said it had been her mission to transform the area into a model municipality to facilitate commerce and development.
She thanked the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the Common Fund Administrator, Irene Naa Torshie, for their commitment to decentralizing justice delivery across the country through the 100 Courts project initiative.
"We are very well aware of the challenges we face as a people. And I am also happy to say that we have made modest effort and progress to tackle those challenges systematically over the last few years.
"This will be the first circuit court to be part of the Justice system as we facilitate the implementation of E-justice. This has come to our constituency and we must ensure that we benefit from it.’’ She stated.
