ASUOGYAMAN: St. Christopher R.C Primary celebrates open day

The St. Christopher Roman Catholic Primary School at Atimpoku in the Asuogyaman District, has held its ‘Open Day’, on the theme: "Parental Commitment - A Key to Nation Development''.

It was organised to reinforce and remind parents of their commitment to their wards, which in turn helps in the development of the nation.

The District Chief Executive for Asuogyaman District, Samuel Kwame Agyekum during his speech, emphasized on the responsibilities of parents towards their wards and vice visa.



He again stressed on government's commitment towards education and the need to do so because it empowers the youth and increases the literacy rate of the nation.

Mr. Samuel Kwame Agyekum also spoke about the school feeding programme being implemented by government, to which the school is also benefiting from.



The Onua Social Club from the Asuogyaman District, donated a 2500 litres capacity water tank to the school.
