MCE restores calm at Ejisu SHS

The Ejisu Municipal Security Council led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Samuel Oduro Frimpong, has restored calm in the Ejisu Senior High Technical School, following reports of stabbing and gang fights in the school.

In a meeting with the students, the MCE noted that, security on various campuses remains paramount to the government and therefore admonished students to take interest in education and productive groups such as the Debaters Club and the Literary Group.

He also cautioned them to stay away from other social vices that will jeopardize their education.

Mr. Oduro Frimpong assured them that work on the school’s fence wall will begin very soon to give students an extra protection.

The District Police Commander, ASP Lummor, warned the students to be mindful of their engagements with criminal gangs.

He advised them to stay away from such groups and concentrate on their studies.

The MUSEC team later met the teaching and non-teaching staff and tour around the vicinity to identify areas that pose security threats to the students and neighboring houses.

The Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Owusu advised teachers to be professional in their dealings with the students and get involved in ensuring discipline on campus.
