The DCE first handed over the Mpaha Health Centre to the District Health Directorate to enhance health delivery in the area.

According to the DCE, the project came following an appeal from Debrewura on behalf of his people and the health staff. Fifteen (15) new patient beds and one delivery bed were also handed over to the facility.

The Hon. DCE thanked the community and the health workers for the patience they exhibited during the renovation period as it caused a lot of inconveniences.

He, therefore, appealed to the residents to keep supporting the health workers so that they can provide the best health service to them.

He spoke against conflict before, during, and after the 2020 elections and that they should maintain peace since that is the only way development can reach their doorsteps.

Receiving the new edifice of the facility, the District Health Director of Central Gonja, Mr. Dubik D Dindiok thanked the DCE for fulfilling his
promise and promised to handle the facility very well.

He, therefore, seized the exciting opportunity to commend the DCE for his support offered by the Health Directorate.

"In fact, the DCE has done very well, he has been very supportive especially during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are most grateful to him, God bless you", he said. The health director also appealed to the DCE to provide a place for laboratory services in the facility to due expansion.

In a related development, the DCE also handed over Mpaha Police Station to the police command.

The Mpaha Police Station had its rehabilitation when the District Police Directorate, chiefs, and people of Mpaha Traditional Area, expressed worry to the DCE. They explained how the roof of the police station was ripped off a couple of years ago and became a death trap for the police officers there.

He promised the rejuvenation of the facility, today, the DCE has fulfilled the promise.

According to the DCE, renovation for Mpaha police station was necessary to bring security to the doorsteps of the people in protecting lives, property, and also beef up security in the area.

He also hinted that accommodation for security personnel posted to the District will be given attention. The assembly will always collaborate with the district police administration, in working assiduously to ensure that various police stations across the district had the best infrastructure to enhance the well-being of the people. He added.

The DCE urged the people to give President Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP Four (4) more years to bring more development to all Ghanaians.
