Awutu Senya East endorses Anita Ebo Ammisah as MCE

The Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly in the Central Region has endorsed Mrs. Anita Ebo Ammisah as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area.

Out of the 19 votes cast, Madam Anita garnered 18 'yes' votes representing 98.6%.

In her acceptance speech, the newly confirmed DCE called for support from the assembly members in order to foster development in the area.

The MCE-elect expressed joy over her election and thanked the President for giving her an opportunity to serve the people of Awutu Senya East.

She also thanked the former MCE Micheal Mensah, Assembly members, chiefs, NPP constituency executive and heads of department for their show of support.

'I will employ innovative ways to address various needs and challenges of the people', she said,

He therefore called on everyone to play a part in transforming the Municipality.

Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mavis Hawa Koomson on her part advised the assembly members to team up with the new MCE to bring more development to the Municipality.

The Central Regional Minister Justina Marigold Assan, some NPP executives and chiefs of the area graced the occasion.
