Assembly support Bomaa Presby Primary

The District Chief Executive for Atiwa West District Assembly, Mr. Seth Asante has presented one packet of roofing sheet to the Bomaa Presby Primary School, following a rainstorm that destroyed part of the roof of the school block.

Mr. Asante presenting the item on behalf of the district office of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), stressed the need for the planting of trees in schools to serve as windbreaks to mitigate the impact of such disasters.

He said it was time for us as a country to come to terms with the realities of climate change and take pragmatic steps towards reducing its impact when it happens.

The assembly member for the Bomaaa electoral area, Mr. Samuel Kwasi Ampabeng who received the roofing sheet for onward handing over to the school, thanked the DCE for the timely delivery.
