Young girls in the Tano North District of the Brong Ahafo Region have been equipped with employable skills in soap making.

The move was spearheaded by the MP for the area, Hon. Freda Prempeh.

The move form’s part of the MPs vision to empower women in her constituency; a means she said was to enable them earn a living in order to support their families as well as make lives lives worthwhile.

As part of the training participants were taken through five days of intensive teaching comprising theory and practical sessions.

Hon. Freda Prempeh who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com said so far first batch of participants have graduated and as part of their package received startup kits and certificates whiles next batch of participants would also graduate before the end of this week.
