An ultra modern classroom building has been secured for pupils of Baglo D/A Junior High school(JHS) in the Jasikan district in the Volta region.

The new school structure which has some ancillary facilities designed to it like a store, staff common room and a computer laboratory amongst others is intended to enhance the conditions under which these school children study for them to get the necessary convenience and comfort in their academic activities.

Nana Barima Kumessy Bonsy, the DCE for the area reiterated in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com that such a facility for the school will obviously go a long way to assist improve the academic laurels of the pupils.

He said the current stage of the educational system highly demands an improved environment for all schools in order to markedly improve on quality education.

He added that the Assembly is still on the move in increasing more classroom blocks for schools especially those in the deprived areas to enhance the standard of education across-board.

He said the project was facilitated with their share of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
