ADANSI SOUTH : Assembly donates school block to Islamic community

As part of measures to encourage school enrolment among the Muslim community in the Adansi South district, the assembly has presented a 3 unit classroom block to the Islamic community in the area.

As part of measures to encourage school enrolment among the Muslim community in the Adansi South district, the assembly has presented a 3 unit classroom block to the Islamic community in the area.

The move according to the DCE, Asare Benjamin is to motivate the Muslims to prioritize education and to bring education to their door steps.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the DCE said the assembly as part of efforts to increase cocoa and agricultural production in the area has given for construction two major roads to facilitate transportation of farm produce in the area.

Mr. Asare mentioned the road between New Adubiase and Brakete as the major one under construction.

He said the assembly has presented 3 unit classroom block to the Nkoranza primary and another 3 unit block to the Subin Camp Junior High School.

The DCE added that the assembly has constructed a 20 sitter toilet facility of the people of Adansi and another 4 chamber 14 sitter toilet block for the Wuriyie community. 

Mr. Asare noted that the assembly has also constructed a new administration block for the area council.
