Communities in the Mpohor Wassa East District are to benefit from a pilot community development project, dubbed Community Information Centers (CIC), initiated by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mpohor Wassa East Constituency,  Hon. Anthony Evans Amoah.

The communities are Abonsaso, Okete, Adanse, Mamponsu, Wiredukrom and Obrayebona, the rest Owumpesuasi and Bemuye.

The project, which would be established in the aforementioned communities, would get to other communities in the other parts of the district, particularly those considered as the most deprived areas in the Western Region.

According to the Member of Parliament, the CIC is aimed at opening up all the communities in the district to the region, and the rest of the country.
