The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is liasing with the Krachi East District Assembly to procure motor bikes for the assembly members.

The motorbikes, to be procured with funds from the assembly’s share of the Common Fund, are to facilitate members’ movement to hold regular interactions with people in their electoral areas.

The District Chief Executive, Mr. Ralph K. Ogyemako, who disclosed this to the media, said  the move would ensure grassroot participation in the formulation of the assembly’s policies and pragrammes as the motorbikes would ensure that the people’s represetatives could reach them at any point in time.
