Dr Asare noted that plans were underway to ensure that all district hospitals have enough doctors to facilitate quick response to patients.

He appealed to the students to study hard whiles displaying good conduct in their academic endeavours and also advised parents to entreat their wards to concentrate on their studies and avoid reckless lifestyles.

The Principal of the School, Mrs Hagar Agyir, said out of the 1,000 applicants only 58 were admitted as a result of limited facilities and emphasised the need for government to come to the aid of the school for improved academic work.

She also appealed to the regional health directorate to extend the services of the Kokofu health facility to cover in-patients care to enable the students gained some experience in basic nursing procedures.
