Kwahu South Municipal Assembly Holds Public Hearing on District MTDP 2022 - 2025

The Kwahu South Municipal Assembly has organised a public hearing on the District Medium Term Development Plan (MTDP) 2022 - 2025.

The programme offered Citizens and key Stakeholders the opportunity to participate and be part of the development planning process. Present were Traditional Rulers, MPCU Members, Hon.

Assembly Members, Zonal Council reps., Unit Committee reps., Religious Bodies.

The Municipal Planning Officer together with the Municipal Social Development Officer presented key areas of the draft plan to the stakeholders. Views from stakeholders were also solicited for incorporation into the plan.

Mr. Emmanuel Atta Ofori, The Municipal Chief Executive in his welcome address assured all stakeholders that, the Municipal Assembly was committed to improving the quality of life of the people in the Municipality by providing a conducive environment for socio economic growth and development through quality local service delivery and participatory, transparent and accountable governance.

Nana Nyarko Bawuah II, the Chairman for the programme commended the Assembly for the good work and entreat the Citizenry to pay their property rates and other fees & rates to enable the Assembly implement the plan successfully.
