NDC PRIMARIES: Kpeli charged delegates to elect good leaders
Delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been urged to digest policies and programs laid before them by their various Parliamentary aspirants before making a choice in the upcoming Parliamentary primaries to be held on 24th August this year to represent them in the general elections in 2020.

This advice was issued by Kpeli Worlase an NDC parliamentary aspirant for the Afram Plains North constituency in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com.
Mr. Kpeli who lost in the 2015 primaries with about five hundred votes and now optimistic of winning the primaries over the incumbent, Betty Krosbi Mensah stated that most people aspiring for the position has no policies to better the life's of the people in their Constituency.
"Most aspirants in this election has no massage for the people in terms of policies to better the lives of the ordinary people in the Constituency, most of us put our interest first instead of prioritizing the interest of the people". He noted.
Revealing how he intends to transform Afram Plains North is given the opportunity explained that "he is going to emulate the late Anokye's who was the District Chief Executive of the Kwahu Afram Plains District Assembly during the erstwhile Kufour's administration strategy by empowering the people to be self-reliance.
“I am going to make the people feel part of the governance system of the country by creating the platform for the people of Afram Plains where they can utilize their specialists while creating employment and also coach them to be self-reliance", he stated.
Mr. Kpeli Worlase stressed that "We need to think beyond the corridors of the common fund being it the District Assembly common fund or that of the MP's, we must develop strategy to increase the Internal Generated Fund (IGF) of the Assembly by supporting and empowering the constituent to make good use of their area of specialist like farmer and fishing since that is the main occupation of the people in the area where after production they will be compelled to send their produce to the main market in Donkorkrom for the Assembly to generate income".
He added that by so doing the people will be financially sound and "I don't think anybody will ask the MP to pay for his wards school fees or pay a hospital bill because the now have the resources to cater for themselves", as the various common funds could be used on the infrastructure development.
Mr Kpeli Worlase seized the opportunity to call on his supporters not to involve themselves in any politics of insult but to remain calm and respect the lay down rules of the party as victory awaits them.
