ELECTIONS 2020: Afram Plains North NPP inaugurates campaign team

The New Patriotic Party in Afram Plains North Constituency in the Eastern Region has inaugurated its campaign team ahead of the 2020 Presidential and parliamentary elections.

The team is tasked to spearhead the campaign of the party to win political power at the Constituency level as they starve to win the parliamentary seat of the Constituency.

The ceremony which took place at the chapel of the Presbyterian Church in Donkorkrom last Wednesday brought together delegates, sympathizers, and supporters of the ruling party.

The Constituency Campaign Team which is co-chaired by the Constituency Chairman and the Parliamentary Candidate is comprised of all Electoral Area Coordinators, Constituency Executives, Parliamentary Candidate, the District Chief Executive, Council of Elders and some branch executives.

Mr. Jeff Konadu Addo the Eastern Regional secretary after swearing-inn the campaign team explained that the launching of the constituency campaign team is in line with the campaign structures of the party, which has been described as an all-inclusive one to embrace both old and new crop of party functionaries, "you will be responsible for all campaign activities of the party in Kwahu Afram Plains North".

He tasked the officers to go all out to fight for the first time in the history of Afram Plains North political dispensation win the parliamentary seat for the NPP.

The Constituency Chairman Mr. Astu Verdzi touched on the ‘unprecedented’ achievements of President Nana Akufo-Addo and urged the campaign team to build on that to deliver victory for the party.

On his part the NPP's Parliamentary Candidate for the Afram Plains North, Hon. Isaac Nana Ofori Koree called for unity among the party members to enhance the effective operation of the party's campaign strategies as he ready to sacrifice himself for the development of Afram plains. he said the campaign will be an all-inclusive one preaching the good work, policies initiated by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo led government.

He advised the team to ascribe to peaceful campaign in their daily endeavours so as to attain their goals towards which includes winning the parliamentary seat and also contributing towards the victory of Nana Addo with a significant vote.
