Akim Oda MP assures fire victims of massive support
Traders, who lost their shops and items in the recent fire outbreak at the Oda Market, have been assured of massive government support to enable them bounce back to business.

Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah, who gave the assurance, said government together with his outfit will collaborate fully to ensure that they (victims) are brought back to business.
It will be recalled that over 500 shops and market sheds in the Oda market burnt into ashes in a fire outbreak that is said to have started at about 8:30pm Tuesday night.
Items worth millions of Ghana Cedis were completely ravaged by the fire outbreak.
The cause of the fire is however, not yet known.
Speaking in an interview with GhanaMP.com, Mr Akwasi Acquah, who expressed worries about the shocking state of devastation caused by the fire, was very optimistic of the government’s continuous support to enable victims start life again.
He thus advised them to be patient hopeful of support as they work closely together to help breath life back to their businesses.
Meanwhile, plans are said to be underway to help relocate these traders to a new site in order to pave way for reconstruction of the old market.
