Tolon Steps Up Sanitation Drive with Nyankpala Cleanup TOLON, Northern Region

The Tolon District Assembly has intensified efforts to improve sanitation with a cleanup exercise targeting refuse sites across the district.

The initiative began at the Nyankpala Chief’s Palace dump site on October 1, 2025, as part of efforts to tackle poor waste management and promote cleaner communities.

The exercise is expected to encourage residents to adopt responsible waste disposal practices while pushing the Assembly to sustain efforts to keep public spaces clean.

The intervention highlights the need for stronger collaboration between communities and local authorities to address sanitation challenges and improve public health.
