According to him, the uncompleted 3 unit classroom block was started with support from chiefs, philanthropist and the people of Adantia after a fund raising ceremony in December 2020

Mr. Yeboah stressed that, the project is in progress but they still need support to complete it at the fastest pace. He then applaud the chiefs of Adantia, unit committee members, the people of Adantia and other philanthropist for their efforts and request for more support to complete the project.

Available data shows that the nation has made gains in the gross enrolment rates at the basic education level especially at kindergarten and primary level following the implementation of social intervention programmes such as capitation grant, school feeding,

free textbooks and free exercise books. However, one scary challenge that confronts Ghana’s education system is the lack of adequately suitable classrooms for all children to sit and learn.

The challenge has led to many school managers to improvise with trees under which children sit to receive teaching and learning.
This improvisation is referred to as “schools under trees”, and it is prevalent in some parts of the country.
