This might explain why his colleague Assembly Members in the Atiwa District have once again reposed confidence in him as the Presiding Member.

Though a hardly fought contest, Mr. Adade triumphed after three rounds of voting which saw his main contender, Paddy Amponsah Douglas of the Ekorso Electoral Area withdrew from the race and pushed the final determination into a “Yes”, or “No” vote to determine the fate of Mr. Wiredu Adade.

Mr. Adade, who is the Assembly Member for Asaman-Tamfoe polled 40 out of the total 49 votes cast representing 81.6 percent that secured him the mandatory two-third majority to become the new Presiding Member for the District.

In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude to his colleagues for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work hard in the interest of promoting the good of the district.

He appealed to his colleagues to eschew partisanship in their deliberations and consider the greater good of the district and the people they serve.
