The Assembly has just completed two community-based health planning and services (CHPS) compound at Breme and Asuboi.

These two health facilities which will render primary health delivery to the people are awaiting electricity connection before they are finally handed over for use, and this according to the District Chief Executive, Collins Offinam Takyi is expected to be accomplished before the year ends.

Mr Takyi also added that the Assembly is poised to continue and complete all projects started under the previous government to bring development to the people.

He said the current number of health facilities in the district including one district hospital, a polyclinic, 3 maternity clinics, one laboratory, functional 3 CHPs and 21 CHPs zones requires extra work to improve the number.
