The road, which serves as bypass route through Berekuso, Kitase, and other surrounding towns, they claim have been left in tatters for the past decade.

Residents say they have to use handkerchiefs to cover their nostril to avoid contracting infections due to dusty nature of the road.

 According to them, several efforts to get authorities to fix the roads have fallen on deaf ears and have therefore resolved to stage a massive demonstration to help get their roads fixed in time. 

"You can't live around this place and wear white dress, because dust will paint it brown "a resident furiously said in an interview with Ghanadistriocts.com.                                          

Drivers who ply the road also complained about maintenance cost which as forced them to charge than the normal fare.                                   

They further appealed to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya, Lawyer Adwoa Sarfo to listen to their cry and as a matter of urgency, tar the roads to help improve transportation.
