KADJEBI: DCE urges teachers to show pupils love

The District Chief Executive of the Kadjebi District Assembly in the Volta, Maxwell Kofi Asiedu urged teachers to show pupils the best care and love to make them feel comfortable in school.

The DCE made the call when he visited a number of primary schools in the district to welcome newly admitted pupils to school.


He visited about ten schools some of which include Mempeasem EP and LA Primary schools, Jinjinso EP and LA Primary, Cement EP, LA and Islamic Primary schools among others.

The event which has become an annual one is used to inspire children who are experiencing formal education for the first time to make good use of the opportunity.

 Mr Asiedu interacting with the pupils mainly Kindergarten and class one pupils urged them to come to school regularly, take their studies seriously. He also entreated the pupils never to give up on their studies, set high standard in life so as to become prominent men and women in society since education is the key.  

 

 

The DCE urged teachers to play active roles in pacting positively in the lives of the young ones, reminding them of how they hold the key to a successful and bright future of these young ones.

 He also advised them to live exemplary lives and inculcate it in the children to become responsible adults to take over the realms of leadership in the future.
