Speaking at a short event, the MCE underscored the importance of the project, saying that the facilitywould relief residents the stress of crossinga river that connects the community to the Accra-Winneba highway before picking vehicle to access quality healthcare.

The people, he said, could only carry out their daily activities to accelerate development if they are strong and healthy.He thus pledged his endless support to help bring quality healthcare to the doorsteps of the ordinary citizenry.

He stressed that the assembly wasalso working tirelessly to ensure that similar projects are initiated in the less privileged communitiesto serve the health needs of the people. 

He charged the contractors to work hard to meet the deadline but also ensure that there is value for money.

Meanwhile, funds have already been earmarked from the assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF) to help finance the project.
