Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, he stated that most of the indigenes in the area are fisher folks and as an Assemblyman he lobbied a non-governmental organization (NGO) called United Ways during the COVID- 19 era to feed the aged, vulnerable, children amongst others.

He stated that at the heat of COVID-19, teachers were recruited to offer home-teachings for pupils in the area. He says his swift responses to the needs of the electorates cannot be wiped away ranging from any casualties, visitation among others, stating that ‘’when it comes to my visibility even a child can attest to it’’.

He made it known that he campaigned on three thematic areas namely education, sanitation and security which have all been fulfilled. Through his efforts streetlights from the assembly were fixed at vantage places to ward off thieves and other miscreants in the area.

Again, under his leadership an examination center has been created at Christ Fellowship in Bortianor to prevent pupils from travelling far away in order to write their final exams.

With regards to sanitation, a communal labor was organized with the involvement of ‘’Operation Clean your Frontage’’. However, there were some deficits and he used the platform to seek the intervention of NGOs to assist them with a dustbin to carry the debris when cleared.

A classroom block to carter for the kindergarten was also lobbied for and built in the Bortianor Electoral Area. Another area of note is the unmotorable nature of the road in front of the clinic but has been improved. Road from Sea view junction connecting the back of the West Hills Mall drainages are being handled by a contractor hoping for a tarred road soon.

He, however, pleaded with the government as a matter of urgency to attend to the Bortianor township roads from Barrier that lead to Lambga being the alternative road linking Greater Accra to the Central Region.

He called on the authorities to dredge the canal that joined the River Densu that is currently choked with sand resulting in flooding.

Mr Dan Bright Abayateye who is gearing up for reelection says he has met the needs of the households of electorates by supplying 2,000 coal pots from Aplaku to Faana and Bortianor. He extended the gesture to other electoral areas outside his jurisdiction.

These and many others are interventions that impacts the lives of the people positively; as such voting for him again will mean a continuation of his good works.
