Biakoye obtains 69th position on the District league table

Out of 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), the Biakoye District Assembly has moved from 252nd to 69th in the District League Table (DLT) that assesses MMDAs performance.

The District League Table (DLT) is a tool developed in 2014 for tracking national development and highlighting Districts that are performing well and those which are handicapped in terms of well-being of their population.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Millicent Carboo shared on her facebook page congratulating the entire staff for the efforts they all put into achieving a high score.

She wrote, “To all the people of Biakoye, I say congratulations. A bigger ayekoo to the Heads of Departments and Units of the Biakoye District Assembly for delivering on your mandates”.

She disclosed that the assembly was rated from 252nd position in 2020, 222nd position in 2021 to 69th position in 2022.
She urged all and sundry to help continue with the hard work in order to achieve a higher rank on the District League Table in the future.
