The district abounds in many of these tourism attractions though usually underdeveloped.

These attractions range from natural features such as the confluence of the White and Black Volta at Sheri, the Mpaha hills and the clean beaches, to historical sites such as the Jakpa Grave site and Regalia at Old Buipe and Nyanwuripe respectively.

The developments of some of these tourist sites have been constrained by poor road infrastructure and inadequate recreational and accommodation facilities in the district.

It therefore means that with some correctional interventions these potentials can become very lucrative and generate the needed revenue for the district.
