Funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), the facility is expected to be completed within 12 months by Kpa-Nyambika Construction Limited.

The Minister said the project would improve emergency response, enhance public safety and bring fire services closer to residents in the rural district.

Ms Tagba said the station would address longstanding concerns over delayed response to fire outbreaks and create employment opportunities for local youth.

The Ghana National Fire Service said the facility would also serve as an operational base and support fire safety education and community preparedness.
