Effutu Muslim Community commemorates the day with prayers and thanksgiving

Alhaji Mohammed Monsuri Issah, the Effutu Municipal Chief Imam, led the worshippers to thank the Almighty Allah his protection over them, especially from the beginning of the Ramadan to its end.
He praised all Muslims for adhering to the principles of the fasting, adding that Eid ul-Fitr was unique in the life of every Muslim and urged them to reflect on the fasting for its continuous benefits.
Alhaji Issah prayed for the Almighty Allah's protection, wisdom and guidance for President Dramani Mahama, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, and the Vice President, Ministers, Members of Parliament and all stakeholders of the country, for them to administer the affairs of the country for the benefit of all.
He urged the youth to remember that Islam stood for peace and advised them to eschew acts that could tarnish the image of the Religion during the celebration. “I thank Allah for all that he had done for Ghana, especially accepting their prayers and supplication for peaceful 2024 general election and we pray for continuous blessings, peace and grace on the country.
He encouraged all Muslims to be law abiding and to eschew negative acts that could tarnish the image of Islam.
