The facility, which is a story building, has 12 offices, including a conference room and waiting room offices, as well as a mechanized borehole. It also has two (2) Ambulance bays, which will help enhance its capacity to respond to emergencies.

Prior to this development, Asante Akim South relied on the Konongo fire station, which also served Asante Akim North and Bosomefreho. This arrangement often proved inadequate, leaving the community vulnerable in times of emergency.

The new fire station in Juaso will provide timely and effective responses to fires and other emergencies, saving lives and property.

The Juaso fire station is not only a benefit to Asante Akim South but also a strategic development for the Ashanti Region.

As at now, the facility has commenced operations with 14 newly posted fire officers.

The station is awaiting the arrival of the Regional Commander and additional staff, as well as the delivery of a fire tender and other essential equipment. With these final pieces in place, the Juaso fire station will be fully equipped to provide top-notch service to the communities.

Meanwhile, Mr. Alexander Frimpong, former Municipal Chief Executive, and Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng, Member of Parliament have all received commendation for their dedication in   bringing the long-awaited fire service station to the good people of Asante Akim South, a testament to their commitment to the safety and well-being of the municipality.
