Ho West: VIMA partners with Assembly to commission ultra-modern library

The Volunteers for International Organization (VIMA) has partnered with the Ho West District Assembly in the Volta Region to commission fully furnished ultra-modern library for the people of Saviefe Gbedome.

The library fully equipped with books and computers, along with a one year internet supply costs $32,000, equivalent to GHC 204,800. It is named Hazel Community Library and Laboratory

Francis Agbemefle, founder and Executive Director of VIMA in his address indicated that this project is one of the greatest achievements to empower children through their education. Adding that the community willingly donated land for the construction of the project including other donors and resources needed for the construction was overwhelming.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Ernest Victor Apau, in his brief address urged the residents to take advantage of the facility by helping their children improve on reading and computer knowledge.
