Onyinafunso to get 3-unit school block

All is set for work to commence on a 3-unit classroom block at Onyinafunso, a community in the West Akim Municipality after the Assembly officially handed over site for construction to the contractor.

The project, when completed, will help provide quality education for children of school going age in the area.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Seth Oduro Boadu, in handing over the site admonished the contractor to provide quality service for the Assembly, adding that plans are advance to tackle school with poor infrastructure within the Municipality.

The Municipal Education Director, Mrs Eunice Amfo Akonnor thanked the Municipal Assembly for this good gesture and also appealed to the community to give the needed support to the contractor.

On her part, Queen Mother of the community also thanked the Municipal Assembly for the project.

The MCE was joined by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Paul Mac Ofori, The deputy director, Shakil Mahamood Kpedau, Municipal Works Engineer, Matthias Eduah and some heads of departments within the Municipal Assembly.
