DCE hands over KG block to Asikuma community
Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District Assembly has handed over a kindergarten block to the Asikuma Catholic Boy in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region.

The new building provides relief and serene atmosphere for teaching and learning for about 300 pupils who prior to the Assembly’s intervention did not have a kindergarten for the children.
In his speech during the 80th anniversary of the Asikuma Catholic boys’ school and handing over ceremony, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Odoom said education had been his priority and he would endeavour to elevate the standard of teaching and learning in the district.
The Member of Parliament for constituency, Mr. Anthony Effah on his part encouraged children of school going age in the district to be serious with their books since Free Senior High School policy has come to supplement the effort of their parents.
He advised the authorities to take very good care of the structure.
Nana Twum Berima, District Director of Education urged parents to invest in their children education and make good use of the building.
Mr. Raymond Owusu, the headmaster of the school expressed gratitude to the District Chief Executive and his entourage and called for more support for the school.
