People of Kpeve Traditional Area commend Rockson Dafeamekpor

South Dayi MP, Rockson Etse Dafeamekpor has been commended by traditional leaders of Kpeve in the South Dayi District for his roles in bringing massive development to the district since he was elected into parliament in 2016.

According to the traditional rulers who made the commendation at their meeting to deliberate on some issues concerning them, Rockson Dafeamekpor has been a great pillar of support since his election into parliament.

One of the Chiefs, Torgbe Akawesi Darke said even though there is more to be covered , they are impressed about how far Lawyer Dafeamekpor has brought development to most of the communities in the district.

They noted that Rockson Dafeamekpor initiated several completed and ongoing projects like school infrastructure; grading and reshaping of feeder roads which were in deplorable shapes into motorable roads; fixing of streets lights in many communities across the district; delivering of hospital equipment and scholarship to over 500 students to tertiary institutions.



According to Torgbe Kwesi Darke, acute water shortage in most parts of the district will soon become a thing of the past with the initiation of water projects in Tokpalime Tongo Tsanakpa and many others now have portable water.

“We can now drink good water because of Rockson Dafeamekpor but we need more to be done in the district”, he said

Torgbe Kwesi Darke advised the MP to bring more developments to the district in order to boost the economic activities of the people who helped him to be where he is now.

The Chiefs of the area made an appeal to the president to as a matter of urgency fulfill promises made to the people during the 2016 election campaign.
