Klefe Traditional Area to observe this year’s yam festival and Glimetso Za
The Chiefs and people of Klefe Traditional area have decided to observe their Yam Festival and the Glimetso Za during the same period in October 2023.

The Zendo Glimetso Za is celebrated by the people of Klefe, Kpeve, Klikor, Tsorxor and Tsibu.
Addressing the gathering, the Volta Regional Minister, Archibald Yao Letsa emphasized the need to hold themselves in readiness to receive H.E. the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; Hon. Ministers of State; Hon. Members of Parliament; Hon. Municipal and District Chief Executives of the Region; and other government officials as well as dignitaries to the two festivals especially the Grand Durbar on Saturday, 28th October 2023.
He, therefore, entreated all to assist in mobilizing adequate resources toward the organization of the two festivals, and implored his kinsmen and women (the people of Klefe) to continue to live in unity so as to put in place the requisite structures and facilities toward a successful celebration.
He noted that the celebration of the festivals would bring about some form of positive development to the Klefe Traditional Area in terms of infrastructural development and the upliftment of Klefe Technical Institute.
The Minister informed the gathering that they would have the honour of H.E. the President commissioning the completed Klefe Township Streets and Klefe-Ziavi road respectively.
