The Mayor made this commitment during a site visit to inspect ongoing Phase 1 works, accompanied by Lady Julia Osei Tutu. The current phase includes the construction of a perimeter wall, washroom facilities, a security post, a main entrance, and the rehabilitation of existing structures within the park.

He emphasized that the revitalization of the park aligns with the vision of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), and expressed appreciation to Lady Julia for leading the initiative. Hon. Boadi assured that the Assembly, on behalf of the government, will provide all necessary support — including assigning security personnel to the site and clearing all unauthorized structures that could obstruct progress.

The Mayor was joined by the Metro Coordinating Director and other departmental heads of the KMA during the inspection.
