Kumasi Mayor Engages Santaasi Market Traders Over Stalled Project And Pricing Concerns

The Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Richard Kwasi Ofori Boadi Agyemang together with the Metro Coordinating Director and some Assembly Members, has engaged traders of the Santaasi Market to address concerns surrounding the ongoing market project.

This engagement follows growing concerns over the delay in the project's completion now over two years as well as rumours of high pricing for the shops upon completion.

The Mayor assured traders that he would engage the contractor to expedite the construction works.

On the issue of pricing, he noted that the Assembly will meet with the contractor to agree on fair and affordable rates that benefit both the traders and the contractor.
