DCE assures of quality healthcare delivery

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sissala East in the Upper West Region, Mr Karim Nanyua has said that conscious efforts are being made to ensure that, quality healthcare is delivered at the doorsteps of the people.

According to him, the assembly has resolved to complete all ongoing community-based health planning service (CHPS) compounds to help improve healthcare in the area.

In a conversation with ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Karim, added that funds have been allocated to the District Health Directorate to help pave way for the necessary infrastructural adjustment at a health center in order to meet the standard of the district hospital.

In other related development, the DCE also added that plans were far advanced to start the construction of two new separate CHPs facilities in some other communities that are equally in need of health facilities.
