Ada East Assembly to move into new office complex
The Ada East District Assembly is expected to move into its new Assembly complex by mid year 2019, District Coordinating Director (DCD), Alhaji Saaka Oramoni, has revealed.

According to the DCD, work on the new office complex had delayed due to financial constraints of the Assembly. This, he said forced the assembly to reschedule its initial date set to occupy the ultra modern facility.
“Due to financial challenges, the contractor could not finish because he moves to site as and when funds are available, as I speak to you all the fittings have been done the WC and the building is ninety percent (90) complete we can move into it now”.
He further added that all the departments would be soon moved into the new office complex old building has now into a death trap.
He revealed that the Assembly was also considering the option of turning the old block into a tourist attraction site since due to its closeness to the sea. He was optimistic that this would help the assembly generate fund to boost it revenue to fund its numerous projects.
