3% Percent Common Fund Disbursement to Persons With Disability

Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly through the Social Welfare and Community Development has disburses its 3 percent common fund to 11 People Living with disability in the Municipality on the 23rd November, 2020.

The items presented to them were, 10 deep freezers and 1 popcorn machine to 11 beneficiaries. The MCD rendered apology on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive who could not attend the meeting as a result political engagement in view of the current political situation in the country.

The Municipal Coordinating Director said the donation was to enhance their social image through dignify labour. Her also encourage them to utilize these resources in order to improve their socio-economic situation and standard of living.

The Director of Social Welfare and Community Development in her remarks said the items will help improve the living condition of the beneficiaries and their families. She said the assembly would monitor the beneficiaries to ensure they made good use of the items and monies presented to them.
